Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Diamond Ring

My Mum's birthday is coming up and I want to get her a ring with a diamond in it but my budget is low! €500, I'm more looking for something in white gold that is unusual but with a small diamond in the design. Any recommendations for jewellers in Dublin that would have something along these lines? Most of the diamond dealers seem to be looking for a min of 2k ... which isn't going to happen! Am I being unrealistic with the 500? Its more of a guesture .. I'm not looking for anything big ... just unusual but with a little diamond :)

    Thanks.

Hiya, I remember seeing some really nice rings by a brand called Hot Diamonds or something like that a while ago. Unusual designs and little diamonds. They used to be stocked in a shop in Ennis, but now that shop has closed down, not much good to you I guess! It was a shop that sold crystals and things like that, so maybe similar shops rather than jewellers might be the main stockists. Hope that helps!

Thanks! I found their website, they seem to stock most of Dublin's Jewellers so I'll have a wander round and see what I can find. Thanks :)

You can get white diamonds and hot diamonds in many jewellers and also online. Id suggest look at the stand in liffey valley they have lovely things or if you can go as far as naas go to hugh statham he has beautiful jewellery - v unusual but at reasonable price he also stocks hot diamonds and john rocca
