Astra CD Changer

Just bought an Astra '00 in which I found factory installed a cd changer fitted in glove compartment. The bad news is it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas on where to get a replacement unit (or fixing it)? Alternately ideas for a cheap car stereo with CD that uses the buttons on the steering wheel?
