indeed you are wise, did gnomes invent the riddle?

No, no. The riddle has always been about in one form or another. We are quite partial to posing them though as you might know from the tale of Repelsteeltje.

I've always suspected it was a Hill Goblin and a Hyena that produced Mr. Flatley but he could very be a mixture of several vile creatures Ryan included.

That article is true but only in the fictional context of the books of the Dragonlance Chronicles and their ilk. I can confirm that Gnomes speak Gnome, Gnomish is a blend of English and Gnome which is about as popular as Esperanto.

Because he is the male of the species.

More than likely yes, but do it on your own time. Filthy...

I'm afraid you'll have to write coherantly if I am to answer and quandry you have Doomspell.

LOL, witty as ever wise gnome.

Can gnomes mate with other magical folken & if so what kind of offspring are produced?

Also what is the sexiest of the female magical folken?

Why thank you. Indeed we can mate with most other magical folk but can only reproduce with humanoid based creatures (Imps, harpies, spriggans etc). Of course many mate for un with more fantastical creatures such as the Basilisk or even a cockatrice but alas no little ones come from such a union.

The offsping of the more usual matings are named after the fathers species with the prefix of 'half' added. This however is not definitive, sometimes a mixture of the species name is used, Gnoman, Gnimp, Harome, Elome and so on.

As for the sexiest, I would say it's a toss up between a Dryad and a Nymph. Mmmmm, oh my yes.

A question of such mind boggling silliness that it may confuse even the wise Gnome. What does pi taste like?

As with all bizarre things, Pi tastes like chicken. Although I'm sure it would depend how much it was rounded off to...

    :D

Touché sir, that was truly a fantastic riposte.

Do you know the world famous David the Gnome?

    Was he gay?

Ah yes David, I knew him well. He was quite naive for a Gnome, his pacifism too is quite unusual.

As far as I'm aware he wasn't gay but he was a very private person so you can never really tell.
Is peanut butter and jam the best sandwich evar?

Good heavens no! For a start it contains no meat or even a meaty vegtable. Tut tut.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 123 ✭✭Dg101

Does that make a piece of steak held between two other pieces of steak the best sandwich? If not what IS the best sandwich?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,756 ✭✭✭Jules

No, that would be too much meat and triple your chances of contracting CJD in one meal.

That said I like your thinking you are already become more Gnomelike.
    jules80 wrote:

Perhaps, perhaps not. That is the mystery that is woman. Loving sexweasel to hysterical maniac and back again in no time at all.
    do gnomes have any allergies?

Gnomes are deeply affected by most forms of pollution and in can suffer from sever allergic reaction in some cases. Other than this Gnomes boast very little allergies.

Thankfully fictitious, if one were be in the presence of a real Carebear one would most likely go instantly mad.

The exceptions to the above are the bears of Goldilocks fame and those feature in 'If you go down to the woods today...'

    definatly something i can manage!!!

Do you think it is better to say everything or not to know everything?

The Gnome, you are truely a king among men, old chum.

Oh Ruu you charmer you, not to know everything is far better. It is a true mercy the mind cannot correlate all it's contents. If one were all knowing, death would a welcome gift.
