Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I want to use my Voda 3g hand set as a 3g modem on my latop. I have it setup for GPRS already and that works grand. Anyone doen this and know the connection settings?

Handset is a Blackberry 8707v but should be the same for any 3G handset.

May as well answer my own question:

Install latest BB software on the laptop. it sets up the modem for you. Add this under the advanced tab of the modem
    +cgdcont=1,"IP","isp.vodafone.ie"
Create a new dial up connection that uses the modem. Put vodafone and the user and pass and *99***1# as the number. When you go to dial make sure that the blackberry desktop is running wont work otherwise.
