    i emailed them and asked does it work in ireland and it does according to them but i mean how much of a difference does it make 2-3kbps? anyone ever used them before?

    Im fairly sure that it just stores extra page information when your online so pages load up faster. Don't think it actually has any effect on speed of downloads.

    It involves the use of a compressing proxy server, so that uncompressed data (such as html pages) will download faster, but data that is already compressed (such as images) will not be affected. There are various other things that they can do to minimise overead, but the benefits you'll see depend on the type of site you hit. You won't see any benefit for file downloads or online gaming.

    It WILL make a differance if your downloading a lot of pages with JPG's ........ it will make them look awful :D

    I used it before I could get broadband , its rubbish , the pages look terrible and the pause between them cacheing the pages before sending to you varies depending on the page , try it and then get your money back within the trial period if your still not sure

    Many servers & web browsers use on the fly compression anyway hence sometimes downloads 3 times faster than you *KNOW* the system can do.

    I wouldn't bother with it.
