Anyone got a decent recipe for singapore fried rice noodles? My local chinese does this dish - I've figured out a lot of the ingredients but I'm just not hitting the spot with it. Chances of me getting the recipe out of them: slim to none.

I'm after tried and trusted recipes - not a quick Google followed by a cut n paste, I can do that mehself...

Woah! just out the door to buy this dish as it's my favourite dish. My local one has loads of fenugreek in it. Called Singapore Chow Mein, its a special dish with a bit of all meats in and is finished with a fried egg.

    edit :

here is my stab at it :

    Boil noodles until seperated
    Heat up oil in pan
    add meat
add onions , peppers, carrot strips, red chili
    add noddles
    2 tsp of fenugreek
    keep mixing
    Beat 2 eggs
    Add slowly while mixing.
Serve when the egg is fully cooked, estimated at 1/2 minutes

edit edit : I made the above , it was not even close :D
