Post your max/min temps for this mini Heatwave

    As the title suggests post the maximum and minimum temperatures here for this week to see what we are observing around the country.
    I know some of us have the basics in weather gear while others have automated readings on high tech equipment and most of us are on the east coast.
    Badly need you guys in the midlands to get us the Extremes both of high and low temps.

    Max today 22.6c at 12.01
    MIn 11.2c at 05.27.

    Max 22.8 at 611pm

    Min 10.8c at 509am

    Heat index was 25c for most of the day though

    Currently 20.5c

    Official max of 26.5C at 14:42 0.2C below all time station record.(Since 1999)
    Official min of 5.3C at 05:26, 0.2C above all time July min.

    Grass min 1.7C, (had Gmin of 0.9C on 14th.)

    Max of 26.7c at 13.17 that is 0.5c short off my all time high.
    Min of 15.4c at 02.25.
    With low humidity throughtout at 45% and under.

    24.1C at both 09.40 (before sea breeze) and then again at 17.25
    Min 9.7c

    Sea breeze very reluctant to take effect untill well after midday up here,must have been a predominant wind in the SE as rosslare struggled to reach 19c yesterday Monday.

    According to the news its the hottest July in 10 years. I noticed it broke the 30oC mark too in some parts of the country. :cool:

    High 24.3c at 519pm a new record for me

    Low was 14.2c

    Max temperature today 30.1C for me at Clara Co Offaly.

    A record for me too- really tropical feel to the weather today.

    Max today Wedensday was 23.7c at 13.25,thats 3c lower than yesterday.
    Min last night was a refreshing 13.7c at 4.35.

    Humidity on the rise now at 71% making it feel a lot heavier.:(

    Tuesday 18th

    Max 24.9C at 18:15
    Min 7.7C (Gmin 3.7) at 05:22 some 2C lower than any other mins I've found for British Isles.

    31.2c here today. I heard the Eagle gave 31.5c as the max today and appeared to be over N Laois, S Offaly on the 9.25hrs programme.

    Quoted tempratures are always shade temperatures.

    My grass thermometer for measuring grass min, recorded a max of 43C today. It's exposed to sun.

    Ah. Is it the "in the shade" high that is to be posted.

    It was a real belter here all day and Im sure N.I. was the same

    Edit: just after seeing above post. The reading was from a Lidl or Aldi thingy that I bought 2 years ago and appears to be very accurate

    Welcome muffler,Air temp is measured in the shade well away form any relective material that can produce inaccurate readings and above 4 feet.
