See there's a big difference between getting a custom designed piece of art that fits and flows with your body and getting a random piece of flash.

Personally i think girls with full sleeves are so hot and yes i did just want an excuse to post that pic.

Meh, if the thought of it being in the wedding photos/video really bothered them surely some long gloves would hide it well enough anyway so I don't think something as small as this should stop a girl from getting a tattoo they really want.

I have one. Right shoulder. Never regretted it, and it needs redoing so I may even make it bigger. Spotted this thread cos I was looking for recommendations for a good tattooist.

I'm currently working on a full sleeve, I'm female, and tbh the tattoos are a part of me, and if it's me getting married I'll want to show them off. Everyone's tastes differ and my current boyfriend loves the work I've got done so far.

As for why, my tat's make me love the skin they're on, and represent stuff about me that I'm proud off.

Tattoo's on women are hot! hot! hot! nothing sexier, same with piercings and mods but thats another story.
I have no tattoos as of yet, a few piercings and possibly a mod or 3 in the pipeline (il post in time hopefully )
Anywho body art as a whole (tattoo's piercings etc) is all about self expression, people get them for various reasons. Whether its to fit in, stand out, feel good about emselves, spiritual, sexual! or even love as seen by tattoo rings. Many more reasons why people get them, too many to think of.

Even though I dont have a tattoo yet I know what I want and why I want it. However it is personal, thats one thing the author of this thread forgot about. To ask someone about their mods can in some cases be very personal, like going up to someone and asking em ""are your parents still together or are they alive?" you just dont ask that. Well personally I wouldnt. Its not a jab at the author at all, and if the naked leper takes offense eh im sorry and yes im very bored in work! so bored! bring on 8am!

I have one on my left shoulder which I don't regret getting and I'm thinking about getting another one done at some stage. The way I look at it is, I'll be easier to identify if anything bad ever happens to me!:D

Yeah tatoos are an ideal expression of who you are, but i think it should come from something inside you....
For example Joe Bloggs from Ballygonowhere getting chinese writing of some description, who has no connection to Aisa, what up with that? In saying that the Irish Flag coupled with the IRA borders tacky too!!

I am all for individuality, but illustrating this should be with due caution!

I have got 2 tattoos both of them are on my upper arms and not really big. Hoping to have a few more in the next few months. Why? I just like tattoos and the pics I had done I was redrawing from old woodcuts for years before I did get them. They mean something to me.

I have taken most of my piercings out. I have had 10 at once before but I only wear 3 most of the time now. I took the rest out for work purposes (I work in an office with old ladies who'd die of a heart attack if they saw things through my face) and I got sick of my labret touching my teeth/getting caught on things.

Considering getting a monroe but I would prefer to get the tatts I have drawn recently.

My boyfriend has 8 tattoos and more to come I am sure. I'm an artist (not a tattoo artist I can just draw a bit) if anyone needs any help with creating their own designs.
