Recommended Video Codecs

Heya lads, just wondering which is the best codec to have small alright quality vids, i use a program called fraps and it just records in the raw form at usually in the high 100's of MB's. I used to use the DivX codec but now im gettin an error and it won't encode, any advice on which codec to use?

This is the error i get when using VirtualDub to encode it,

"Video Compression error: The source image format is not acceptable. (error code -2)"

google is your friend. Its a person in a game that abuses a glitch in the code, to benefit themseleves hence the term glitcher, or exploiter is another term.
