Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Using UK sim in phone purchased in Ireland

    Hi Guys,

    Going to UK soon on hols and want to have a mobile for calls in the UK (uk mobile to Uk mobile/landline).

    Can I use an unlocked ireland phone with a sim bought in uk or is there an easier way?

    Yep, that's the way to go. My advice would be to buy an Orange SIM if you'd like to call Ireland from the UK, as Orange only charge 20p/min to call Ireland from a PAYT phone! I think you have to give a UK address before using the SIM initially - I don't know if that's the same with any UK SIM card, though.

    O2 UK are 10p/min and 10p/text mesage to Ireland
