problem uploading with rssgm

i can upload all files , folders etc... but how do you get it working so to speak? with html it's the index.html but what about php? how do you get your index php file to display correctly?

im trying to upload a rssgm to my server.

it's php based and in the main directory there is an 'index.php' file which links to 'theindex.php' in a sub directory file.

i'm following a guide which says to chmod all files. i've done that but no luck when it comes to displaying site in browser.

i get errors:

"URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration"
"failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found..."
