I was just surfing youtube for a while there when I came across a couple of clips of Mike Mangini from Annihilator...

The guy is a phenominal drummer I have to say, one of the best I've ever heard... I apologise if anyone has posted this somewhere already, but this is something everyone with an interest in metal drumming has to see... Enjoy!

I agree, it makes a refreshing change for the usual grimace.

Honestly though, I don't think I've really listened to Annihilator before, so I might give 'em a go.

jsus christ the third video in the OP is simply amazing

its one of the first drums solos that hasn't bored me to death, man its mind blowing when he goes really fast its actually like the tapes being played in fast forward if you just look at his arms

Yeah, I think we've found someone who's not only faster that Flo Mounier, but also more tasteful! :eek:

The video looks like it's in fast forward becuase of the compression.
