Anyone know where I can get such a thing as flushable cat litter?
Life would be so much easier, hopefully it exists... there must be something?

World's best is flushable and not cheap - available in most pet shops I think

Thanks, Ill have a look at that this week :)

By any chance, anyone know of any (young adult, or adult) kittys in need of a good permanent home?

    Thanks,
Just got in touch with Charlotte, seems like she may have the purfect cat so im waiting to hear back.

I'd be more looking for an older cat rather than a kitten tbh, so hopefully thats a good thing. :)

Didn't you have to rehome your cat just before Christmas due to illness?

I don't mean to be a smartass or anything but have you made alternate plans for a temp residence for your new cat should you end up in the same (or a similar) situation again?

(Apologies if I've got the wrong person btw :) )

Would have preffered a PM, not a story I want to remember really, specially talking on a public board to strangers, but yep, that was me, one of the hardest decisions I ever had to make.
My ex had just left me, after an emotionally crippling 8 year relationship, I got very ill, and had to go into hospital and couldnt just leave him, so Jan took him in for me and promised to find him the best possible home. (I was informed today that he is doing great).

Now, almost a year later, I have moved home, have been living here with the man I truly love, we have created a wonderful home here, and everything has been stable for 7 months now, and seems will stay that way.
And yes, if anything did happen to me, there are arrangments made where the kitty will be looked after by either my partner or my sister.

So all of that was a bad set of circumstances, at all the wrong times, and somthing I would rather forget and have put behind me.

    Hi,

I'm fostering a cat called Arthur for the Catsaid people at the moment. Have a look at www.catsaid.org/home.htm click on adopt a cat on the left menu and scroll down until you see Arthur. He's a lovely little fellow - very friendly, 5 years old.

Arthur looks like a wonderful boy alright, but he just wouldnt suit our situation.
But he does seem like a beautiful little guy and I wish him well. :)

Yes Arthur has to have an indoor life, I got him as a possible companion for my other cat (who also has FIV) but they don't really get on with each other. Ah well, I tried !

    Good luck in your search

Then perhaps you shouldn't have posted so much info in your reply? I kept my comment vague - a simple "yes", my sister would be able to take him/her. :)

Oh - I personally wouldn't trust my husband with my cats care long term & I'm married to him for longer than you've been in this relationship. :D

Glad to hear life is getting better for you XXX. I know how hard it was.
Sure there is a cat with your name on it at kitten adoption. I hear there is also a Toby cat who is an adorable ginger guy who loves to be loved.Maybe a match made in heaven.
Good luck any way what ever happens Claire.x

Sorry hadook, didnt mean to sound snappy, just a bit of a raw nerve still ;)
Tis all behind me now tho and Im finally happy and reasonably healthy.

    Claire, :)
Right now its between Ladybird & Toby, we are hoping ladybird is still available but toby looks like a wonderful cat also, ladybird would be harder for KA to home apparently tho, so we would prefere to take her, and she does seem perfect for us :)
