They seem to take Laser. And if you buy items from them online, many of them come with a discount. Plus, you can buy online and then collect it in one of their stores. So even if you don't want it delivered, you can buy it online with a discount and collect it in store.

    We take Laser (http://www.blacknight.ie)

Most of the bigger online shops will take Laser if they're using Realex for processing.

Is it not a bit dodgey using a laser card online, I use a 3V because I thought that if someone got the details off your laser card they could clean out your account. Is it safe to use them online or should I stick with the 3V?

You'd need a paypal account, so if Paypal accept your AIB card you should be ok, but I'm not sure if they will or not

Nah.. Paypal won't accept that S12.

That's just an ATM Card with Laser / Maestro functionality.

I have a ccv number at the back of my maestro
Me too, that is the three digit number over the signature isn't it? What is the four digit number to the left of it. And where is the start date? I can't use on Amazon Uk and I am not sure if I am doing something wrong

I also have this, only got my laser card two weeks ago. I've never used it online yet though.

With the exception of CD WOW, what sites that sell video games accept Laser?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 63 ✭✭glenroe2006

The IFI accept Laser for membership and bookings online, and UCI also accept it for bookings I think.

I ordered a few items (Bluetooth adapter for my phone, card reader and a 2gb SD card for my Wii) from them just after midnight on Friday night/Saturday morning. Stuff arrived the Tuesday morning and they all work excellently. I'd definitely recommend them. Just for anyone who's thinking of ordering from them, they send stuff via registered post so make sure someone will be there to sign for it. (I hate having to collect parcels at the post office).

CD WOW are hit and miss really. I ordered March of the Penguins for a fiver from them on Saturday just gone. Since then, I've received at least 2 dispatch emails saying the same thing, but no DVD yet. Not sure what's going on there to be honest. I just hope I don't get the same DVD a few times.
