Clover in heather bed!

    My heather bed has recently become overgrown with clover. The heather is still alive only the clover has overgrown it. Can i spray any weedkiller on that won't kill the heather?

    Don't put on any weedkiller in this weather! Some guy on the Gerry Ryan show today said it would burn plants grass etc. in this hot weather!

    Hello kingkev,
    unfortunatly there is no selective weedkiller for clover that leaves heather standing.
    So get your paint brush out.
    Paint undiluted "Round-up" onto the stems of the clover that trail away from the heather, avoiding splashes onto the heather.
    This will eventually translocate its way to the other stems and roots of the weed over a 4 week period.
