    Hiya,
I'm moving down to Cork from Galway for college in september with a couple of other girls. We want to know a bit about where to start lookin for somewhere to live. We've decided against campus accommoadtion because we think its just a total rip off . Have been lookin on daft.ie and the UCC accommodation website but wanted to know if there are any area's with a high student concentration. What areas ahould we look in? Any help would be great.

Western Road has a high student concentration, UCC is so central that anywhere in the city centre is basically walking distance.

Check for houses on College Rd., Western Rd., Highfield Avenue, Highfield West, Magazine Rd., Glasheen Rd. or Bandon Rd. All are fairly close to U.C.C. If you come to Cork searching, the accomodation office on College Rd. is quite useful.

Anywhere around the lough is good, about 10 minutes walk from college and can be a bit cheaper as its the other side from the city (roughly 20 minutes)

Well we don't want to be too far from where the action is. Thats why we want 2 be around other students.
