Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Connecting A digiweb metro box to adsl wifi router?

I recently got Digiweb metro. I also have an Belkin ADSL wifi router. Is it possible to connect both together and if so how?

When I plug the digiweb box into the ethernet slot on the wifi router I don't get any internet access. Does an adsl box have to have an adsl connection through a phone line to work?

    Thanks!

An ADSL router will only work as a router on an ADSL connection. If the Digiweb box is acting as a router, you could plug the Digiweb cable into a LAN port on the router and just use the Belkin as a switch, but if the Digiweb box is presenting a single public IP address, then this won't work.

How do I know if it's a single public IP address and can I change it?

If you have Windows, go to Start/Run and type CMD. Click OK. Type IPCONFIG

If the IP address that is listed starts with 192.168.1 or 192.168.0, then your Digiweb box is probably acting as a router, and you could use the Belkin. If your IP address is in a different range, you probably need to replace the Belkin with a broadband router.
