€3.59 for a pint of bottle of Bulmers!

That's between 60c-€1 more expensive than anywhere else. I should have known when half the stuff in the shop had no price up, it's a sure sign they're out to scalp you.

The fine weather will only last a few days. My boycott will last forever.

    Avoid.

Tesco are selling Pint Bottles of "Magners" (UK version of Bulmers)
for 2.99 and are advertising it as exclusive. I thought THAT was expensive
cos you can pick up the 1litre bottles of Bulmers on the oppisate
shelf for under a fiver. one thing about Bulmers is I find it tastes
best served from a Glass Bottle. it somehow does not seem as nice
    from a can.

I love Cider. My favourite was Hudsen Blue but slowly through Limerick
it started to Disappear. Glentworth Hotel and the Castle Lane Tavern were
the last pubs that I saw a tap for it.

Have tried the Organic ciders from Tesco but its hard to get drunk off them.
The Kopenberg??spelling Cider is lovely and even comes is Pear flavour
but be warned your wee will and smell like flowers
    very very scary!

What I find OK when money is tight is the Stone House cider somtimes
you can get offers 4 cans for a fiver. I have heard of a lot of people that
were surprised that it was not as Bad as some of the other cheap stuff.

Lol...dont think I will try that stuff.

Prefer Bulmers from the bottle myself but do buy the cans as they are easier to get rid of.

Go up to the counter in Catherine street with the two Carlsberg six-packs marked 2 for €15 and see how much you are charged.

dont you love the extravagent markups that retailers put on stuff that they know people will buy anyway..

on the whole koppenburg (sp!) thing..personally i love it! im a girl not used to cider (my mum loved it but i was like urgh) but the pear cider is gorgeous and its nice to have something like that to drink when its hot..ive heard that the mixed berry cider is rather strong so might steer clear of that!

The French cider they sell in Tesco is very nice, €2.50 for a 750ml bottle. Completely different style to Bulmers though (better IMHO.)

I will never, ever, ever & I mean ever forget the day I walked into Fine Wines on Catherine St. and the ******s were selling out of date beer at a reduced rate.

Not disposing of it correctly in a dump somewhere but putting it on fcuking promotion !!!!

    - And even still it was something like €2.50 down to €2.00.

Found a Website - maybe hes short a few bob - give him a break folks.

    http://www.parkesproperties.com/contact.html

Although I'm not so charitable and will continue to avoid giving them any business at any cost - ever.

P.S. Distinctly remember that it was foreign beer & therefore no risk of a rep. calling in unexpectedly and asking awkward q's.
