    Is the track deformation still in this? I can't see any of it in the video, just bump maped tyre tracks.


    Also, they confired this won't be out till 2007 a while back, has something changed?

    It's the exact same as it was at E3, the tracks use parallax mapping, but as far as the physics model is concerned, the deformation is there. Your tires roll in and out of the tracks etc.

    One Sony guy after E3 said it was coming out in 2007, but Evolution was saying launch at E3, and they updated their site after E3 and were still saying launch (you can see that here http://www.evos.net/html/news/news_MSatE3.html), so I'm thinking that one sony guy may have been a little confused. Things can change, but I certainly hope this is still on track for launch.

    It was the CEO of SCEE that said Motorstorm was going to miss launch and we haven't heard anything from either of them since.

    Yes we have, check the date on Evolution's update. That's the latest word we have on its release date. It could change, of course, but that's the most recent comment they've made on it.
