Why are some of these so cheap?

    I have seen a few 1.4 astras for sale...94's - 97's... they seem to be fairly cheap. Why is this?

    Even the 97's seem cheap though compared to other cars in their class.

    That model Astra was introduced in 1992 so the design is now 14 years old and looks dated. Most will not have ABS, air bags or electric windows either which will make them less desireable. Generally similar cars of that age should be cheap anyway.
