Question about upgrading?

On my 3rd day of the 10-day trial I am thinking about upgrading. So far the only way to upgrade that I have found is to purchase the boxed game. I would really prefer if I could just purchase/upgrade the cd-key with a credit card and not have to buy a box. So far this looks unlikely, but I'll hold out in case someone can…

as far as i know that's the only way
it's fairly cheap on cdwow, and you can always use one of the countless vouchers that they're giving out to knock a bit off the price...
