Man, I feel stoopid for forgetting such an obvious gorgeous, heartbreaking song...

I think Distant Sun by Crowded House is way more beautiful than Fall at Your Feet. It was used on Reeling In The Years for the IRA ceasefire in 1994 - a goosebumps and lump-in-throat moment.

Edit: anyone know where I could get the Rolling Stones version of It's All Over Now, Baby Blue? It's utterly stunning, and better than the original.

"Sex Farm " - Spinal Tap.

According to Bass player Derek Smalls it "takes a sophisticated look at working on a sex farm". I agree, such beautiful lyrics

    Working on a sex farm
Trying to raise some hard love
    Getting out my pitch fork
    Poking your hay

    Scratching in your henhouse
    Sniffing at your feedbag
    Slipping out your back door
    Leaving my spray

Sex farm woman, I'm gonna mow you down
Sex farm woman, I'll rake and hoe you down
Sex farm woman, don't you see my silo rising high?

    Working on a sex farm
    Hosing down your barn door
    Bothering you livestock
    They know what I need

    Working up a hot sweat
    Crouching in your pea patch
    Plowing through your beanfield
    Planting my seed

Sex farm woman, I'll be your hired hand
Sex farm woman, I'll let my offer stand
Sex farm woman, don't you hear my tractor rumbling by?

    Working on a sex farm
Trying to raise some hard love
    Getting out my pitch fork
    Poking your hay

There is a lump in my throat, God bless em.

Since Love's Arthur Lee has passed on, it's appropriate to give a mention to the incredible Alone Again Or. I should have mentioned it long ago.
