Mmm yeah... I had a read through that thread alright... but I really couldn't be bothered getting involved.
I don't smoke to appear more attractive, so it doesn't even come into question in my mind... some people find it revolting, fine.
If I were a non-smoker I'd probably find it disgusting aswell... I'm not going to defend the attractiveness of smoking and tell these non-smokers they're wrong... it's 100% subjective... so there's no room for discussion... only a pissing contest for non-smokers to see who hates the smell of smoke the most. :rolleyes:
The only thing I took away with me from that thread is how widespread that attitude is... according to the poll at the moment, you'd be seriously hurting your chances with 80% of boards users... who're mostly pale blokes in sandals tapping away at their computers anyway.

I'd bet a months wages that if you were a hot chick who smoked and you offered to sleep with anyone of them, they wouldn't give a flying monkeys whither you smoked or not!

I'm more attracted to men who smoke. If I see a guy I like lighting up a cigarette, I immediately start to fancy him more. Not sure why though.

Although, they have to look cool. I have a couple of male friends who smoke in the most unattractive way possible.

Same for me with women. And "ditto" to don't know why as well, all I know is that I love women smoking!

Seems that the poll on that thread had a 60/40 split in the end.
