Was just wondering does anyone know when the deadline for applications for the courses in the UK to do primary teaching are?

Not sure but you'll find out everything here..

    http://www.gttr.ac.uk/

Its like a centralised management system for all of the PGCEs.. or most of them at least. You'll find dates there.

They will interview right up until the course start date in August - basically until all the places are filled.

If you click on the link Trotter gave you, go to the course search, select 'Primary' and 'Full time courses with vacancies', it will show you all the courses with vacancies across the UK.

PS: Primary is a high demand course though, so most of the vacancies at this late stage will be with a specialism, such as IT or a language.

My brother used to work for a recruitment firm, I think they were called ITN teachers, they can do alot of legwork for you, but you should still be aware that they are a recruitment firm and act primarily for themselves, then the school where they get the most business (possibly a high turnover school) and finally for you.

A recruitment firm can't get you a place on a teacher training course though surely?
