No. The tuner is NTSC only and does not support NICAM digital stereo sound. It'll work fine as an RGB/HD monitor though !

The PAL version of that set (R73 I think) is available in the shops here from about 1400 euro. Maybe even cheaper if you haggle a bit and I know how taximen love to haggle !!;)
