Im looking for some sort of free image gallery
that will display a variable amount of images
(either through Database or XML or whatever)

Had a look on flashkit.com but cant seem to find
anything nearly as good..

anyone got any links to cool free flash galleries like this

That flash gallery is Slide Show Pro - www.slideshowpro.net - and it only costs $20. You need flash to use it though but it can be installed with the trial version of flash for 30 days. It loads images from an XML file, which in turn can be generated by a database and a server side script. I use it myself on some sites. It's really easy to customise and use.

This is free and open source so you get the .fla file to modify as you so desire. It doesn't have all the features as the paid version posted above but it still outputs images from categories via xml thru flash.
