Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

unmanagable hair

I have been growing my hair for the past 6/8 months. It is long-ish but horribly unmanagable! I mean I spend a minute or two brushing it, and I step outside for 5 mins, and even if there is fcuk all wind it looks like I stuck my finger in a plug socket! Does anyone have any tips on how to keep hair under control? I wash my hair every second day and use conditioner.

I am just waiting for another 2 months or so so it will be long enough to put into a pony tail

Try keeping it tidy with some hairgel. I used to keep mine slicked back with brylcreme untill it was long enough to tie back. Still use a bit off the stuff now, as there's a few bits that don't tie back all the time. Other than that, patience helps.

My hair is that kind of in between fuzz too and I find that taking the straightners to it (GHD is the best) is your only option. The straightners smooth the cuticle so that it will sit in approx the same place you put it. A little bit of hairspray (I find that L'Oreal's elnet works a treat) and you are ready to go.

Unless the weather is damp your hair will stay looking half decent.

my hair was like that even when i used a ghd, then i got a reverse perm best thing ive ever done! very simple to do... salon charges around €200, my mams an ex hairdresser but all u do is follow the instructions and instead of putting your hair in rollers you just brush it straight..

and the lotion only costs around the same price as a hair colour, stays reallt straight for ages.... i just have to get another one in because i got my hair cut short and the top is mad at the mo!

    Yeah, me too

Best bet is Brylcreem. Syles ur hair without makin it hard and shiny like with gel. Also, it stays in ur hair, so easy to restyle if its blown a bit, and its good for ur hair!

Also, u good get your hair chemically relaxed. i was thinkin of this myself

    Good luck anyhoo :)
