Hi, Although i often use the same data later for different projects i was wondering if there is an open source one out there done up by microsoft or someone that is really efficent and well optimised that does all the normal SQl connection and DataSet jazz ? is there one called SqlHelper.cs ? Thanks for any replies.

SqlHelper.cs is part of the enterprise library (entlib). You'll find it here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=5A14E870-406B-4F2A-B723-97BA84AE80B5&displaylang=en for .net 2.0.

Dunno where the 1.0/1.1 is but you'll find it if you look.
