Projectors - What lumens and what other features should I look for before buying?

    Hi,

    Justing looking for advice on what to look for when buying a projector for a home cinema. What lumens should I be looking for? 1500? 2000?

    Any particular brand I should look for/stay away from?

    What other features should I be looking for?

    Thanks for any advice you can give me as i want to get it right for the amount of money i am willing to spend (i reckon anything from €1000 - €2000?)

    Also, anybody used any good sites to buy projectors from, or would the likes of Harvey Normans do?
