How long should it take for the temp gauge to start working in a corsa?? (after driving for a while no go)

Also the steering is veering to the left which leads me to believe the tracking is off / wheels worn / previous owner bursted off a pothole at some stage.

Getting it fully serviced tomorrow so..

Should begin registering within minutes.

Re tracking - also one tyre may be under-inflated causing car to pull to one side.

Should be up to temperature within 5 min, maybe 2 in warm weather.

Check the sensor is connected, or check for a sensor with a wire or wires disconnected, or wires that need somewhere to be connected, usually located about the location of the thermostat.

Pulling coudl be anything, check the tyre pressures first. Then insure they are all the same size and type and of equal wear. put the matched best pair on the front.
