Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm considering DigiWeb Metro 1mb (only 1mb coz it's all I want to afford) and I'm wondering how easy it is to download large torrents around 300mb. Is it gonna take absolutely ages? Or will it probably download in a relatively painless time length?

if theres a lot of seeds you'll get your full 100k download speed. At that speed you could download 300mb in around an hour bearing in mind that it takes a while to reach that speed on bittorrent

why would it take long to reach that speed on bittorrent? Thats just
    plain wrong information.

no one can give you a absolute 100% correct answer at how long it will take because with torrents the way they work depend on how many people are seeding (ie uploading the file) and their connection speeds.

if it's a torrent that has a lot of seeds then you should have no problem hitting your max download speed.

Cheers for the info. What about downloading regular files? How well does wireless handle large downloads compared to regular bband?

once again it depends on a few things, mainly...

    1. the quality of your connection.
    2. the quality of the servers connection (99.9% of the time is great).

I assuming yer thinking of dloading TV epps at the 300 meg mark . Well most tv epps are about 350 and I can get one of those in about 45 mins when my IBB 2 meg is working. So id say it should take you about 90 mins arpox for a 350 meg tv epp. There is no definite answer though, if yer getting the latest epp of lost ya will get full speeds if yer getting somethig less popular it may take longer.
