What's the word on Mediasat's one-way home satellite 256k - 1MB?

    Just signed up with the 256k starter one-way from this crowd, wondering if anyone whos using it can let us know how its going.

    I applied for it in February. Tod it would be installed in 4 weeks. Then told a delay of 6 weeks then told they would be in contact when it was available. No contact since.

    Seems they have no real intterest in anyone looking for the basic package.

    Try vodfone 3G if you have 3G coverage. 460kbs both ways

    The 256k is the mediasat starter package, pretty good. You can also upgrade to the next level which is 512k or even to 1M, all depends on your usage levels

    there are lots of one way sat providers out there, silvermead, cpsat , netsystem, europe online , skydsl and they come and go so there may be others.

    mediasat are by no means the cheapest of them , some are €5 a month like skydsl at present
