Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Images are nice but the rest of the site is rubbish, can't find anything out about them at all, no pricing no contact no about section,
    poor form

There is contact information across the botton of the page, a page on the two photographers, and a sample price list, which admittedly is showing up blank for me.

As far as the category of wedding photography is concerned, I'd have no hesitation in suggesting White Tea (http://www.whitetea.ie) as the best wedding photographers in Ireland. I came across them at a wedding fair last year and was bowled over by the quality of their images and their down to earthedness (if I can say that?!:).

I don't see what the big deal is, pics seem standard enough (best one is of the female photographer:p). Wouldn't have them up there with the best wedding photographers anyway.

I see nobody has mentioned Fr. Browne.

I'll second Bob Carlos Clarke stumbled across his website a few weeks ago

I think Cork based wedding and portrait photographer Denis Hyland is in the top echelon of Irish photographers. http://www.denishyland.com/

I agree - very talented. I'd like to tag along and see his process.

In the Sports area it's hard to look past one man who has covered way too many major events to mention

    Ray McManus - Sportsfile

Some of his best - in my humble opinion

I'm suprised that nobody has mentioned giles norman yet. He does black and white, a lot of landscapes.

I must admit that I'm stunned that people have omitted the vast talent of photography here on boards.

Danny - always stunning wildlife images. Some of the best I've ever seen, anywhere.
Covey - Stunning life images/street images.
Borderfox - always top class equine photography
Ken, City-Exile, and many others brilliant in their class of sports photography
For wedding photography there is another host of great photographers - Al, Mike, etc
    Gig/Music photography, even more choice.

Come on guys ... many of the "noted" photographers listed here don't even come close to the talent of boards members.

And in that respect, why shouldn't Rymus nominate himself?? :D

I agree. Looking at the sites of some of the "best Irish photographers" has left me decidedly underwhelmed. A lot of the wedding and landscape photography in particular is pretty standard stuff.

Actually, you can scrub me and put in John on that list. Although I don't take landscape, I do appreciate it and definitely one of the best around.
