Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Of course. IBB is wireless to your antenna on your roof but a cable comes down to your office / bedroom with a normal ethernet port that you plug your PC or router into.

I use this router with my IBB

Got it from eBay for about €110 inc postage. It covers the whole house and runs pretty constantly.

ok there is a black ethernet type cable coming from the radio down into their box that connects the power and then there is a red ethernet cable coming from the box..

works fine from that to the computer but when I connect to the router(belkin wireless g router) it doesnt connect at all!there is 4 ports and an input type port which i connect the red cable into and another cable from one of the ports to the computer but it just doesnt work at all!!!!

Red cable is prob a crossover cable. Change it for a normal ethernet cable and see if it works. Have you configured router with IBB settings?

if the cable came from ibb then its should be fine.
they supply normla ethernet, and since it works with your pc it suggests its working.

you need to go into the router settings and set it up for ibb.
make suer to set your pc up for dhcp so it works with the router as ibb will have it set up for fixed ip on their network
