Considering the British Army wasn't meant to even fire a shot whilst in Afghanistan according to former Defence Secretary Reid, they sure have been busy.

In yesterday's Telegraph there is an article reporting confirmation by the Ministry of Defence that the Para's have killed 700 Taliban fighters so far.

It's very impressive but a bit scary about the poor intelligence of the nature of this mission when one looks at the statements made the then Minister of Defense at the time of deployment:
