Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey All,

Has anyone recently completed the Windows 2000 - 2003 Domain upgrade who would be willing to share their plan \ strategy?

Ive pulled various bits and pieces of the net from Microsoft etc but I know it will still take forever to get it all together into Project form, write up the documentation, make checklists etc.

I know its a long shot but it would be great to have another plan to work off.

Even a PM would be great if you dont want to post the info here.

    Thanks

Are you installing a Server (s) or an upgrade to the 2K box?

Upgrading 10 servers + 7 DCs across Ireland from Win 2000.

Found this to be a good starting point. We eventually went for a fresh install as we had a mix of NT servers, with a series of past sins and an unfriendly Exchange 5.5 server with various problems in the registry.

    Thanks Occidental,

Ive a look through that already its quite helpfull though and will help me a lot in the overall plan.

At this stage I think im going to have to take the crunch and write it all up from scratch, I just presumed alot of Upgrade plans would have been posted around the net by now.

As a side note, Their is a hostel in New Zealand, ChristChurch called the "The Occidental" I stayed their for a month during six nations vs NZ rugby. Great Spot, just some random Trivia brought it all back to me when i saw your name :)
