    www.italk.ie might be a good place to start. They're an Asterisk bunch.

    too complex to set up for a small system , forget Italk and Asterisk .

    look in buy and sell and expect to pay up to maybe €800 - €1000 including installation .

    alternatively buy a panasonic/goldstar system on ebay IF the programming manual comes with it , they are simple to configure .

    avoid the really complex (ie expensive) siemens and nitsuko stuff

    alternatively chance your arm on a REALLY cheap noname

    thanks for the replies folks. Not interested in running asterisk for such a simple setup.

    Im just looking for a supplier of equipment. I plan installing it myself. The ebay stuff looks worth a go.

    Get yourself:

    - An ISDN hi-speed line (2 lines)
    - Go to http://www.marxcomputers.ie/ -> Communication -> ISDN

    The AVM Fritz!X USB ISDN + phone system for 178 euro gives you a mini pbx with up to 4 extensions. It uses ordinary analogue phones for the extensions

    You can hook it up to a PC for call logging, voicemail etc if you want to.

    I found it a very cheap solution for a small office that needed a basic solution.

    Panasonic systems are the way to go.

    Or else asterix, it is easy enough once it does work.
