Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Opera Mini on my Blackberry 8700g - O2

I just got myself a Blackberry 9700g on O2. I have been playing around with it for a few hours now, pretty happy with it, nice screen.

I downloaded Opera Mini for it, but I can’t get it working. It wont connect (error 3.0.10:80), I’ve searched a lot of forums, and the solution from everyone is to simply enter the settings for APN under TCP in the blackberry’s settings. I’ve tried all the APN settings for O2 Ireland that I’ve come across on the various forums but none seem to be working for me. I’ve tried wap.dol.ie, wap.o2.ie, open.internet and a couple more. I’ve tried ‘gprs’ as the username and password, I’ve tried leaving the username & passwords blank. I still get the same error and no connection.

Anyone, have any ideas what I might be doing wrong? Any suggestions?

Btw, is viewing websites with Opera Mini gonna be covered by the ‘unlimited’ wap page viewing without any extra charge? I’m on the data only plan (20euro a month+vat).
