Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

LTSP - Terminal Services

I need to deliver a few apps running on a server to a sizable number of users via remote desktop.

I'll be setting up LTSP on SLES9/10, which I *think* can be accessed with FreeNX?

It's for students with mobile access being par for the course.

I need a secure, encrypted (eg SSH tunnel) solution, with a standalone client if possible as students will be logging in from on-campus suites and from other mobile machines around the world.
The actual desktop environment will be a choice between Gnome, KDE and probably BusyBox, with BB being the default.

Does anyone have any suggestions, or observations?

Open Vpn for a little pain

Hamachi is a zero config VPN solution (they lie u need to enter a password + network) :)

FreeSSh / openssh ....... (2 tons of these for win + nix)

By the look of things Open vpn may be the only option of use here.
