Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Ok Guys

The following is my current set up:-

IBB 1mg Breeze connected to Canyon wireless router.

Macfiltering and WPA(TKIP) both enabled and SSID broadcasting disabled.

On laptop using AVG, Zonealarm, Spywareblaster, Spybot, Adware and Windows Defender.

Q1 Is this an adequate security set up?

Q2 Is there any logic in enabling the NAT firewall on the Canyon router, would this add any more security or might it conflict with Zonealarm? Would I be better leaving it disabled?

    Thanks in advance:D

    Q1. Yep. if anything overkill.

Q2. Nat by itself is enough to keep the internet nastys out. Zonealarm will only catch stuff on ur local network as nat wont be able to let anything connect from outside in which is good. (if ur mates connect to ur wireless its a good idea)

If this is a home network its a low priority target
All that i would have advised is WPA with a long passphrase as a password + spybot + AVG + Firewall(i dont like zonealarm personally but it works)
