Getting an exhaust done

In the sunny ive got the exhaust is showing abit of rust. Its like an onion peeling (is this normal?) around the backbox. Its should be fine for a few months but the NCT is next year and I know it will need to be changed for then. Would you be best off going to a mechanic down the road or Quikfit? How much money would you…
