Q magazine has been mining the "so crap its good" vein and come up with a list of 50 tunes you love but dare'nt admit to listening to known as Guilty Pleasures (complete with 3 CD box tie-in)

The top 10 + my ratings.

    1. ELO - 'Livin' Thing' Okay
    2. Boston - 'More Than A Feeling' Classic
    3. S Club 7 - 'Don't Stop Movin'' Bluugh
    4. 10cc - 'I'm Not In Love' Good
    5. Gary Glitter - 'Rock'n'Roll Part 2' Ahem!
    6. Foreigner - 'Cold As Ice' Classic
    7. Billy Idol - 'Rebel Yell' So-So
    8. Status Quo - 'Whatever You Want' Very guilty
    9. Gerry Rafferty - 'Baker Street' Classic
    10. Gloria Gaynor - 'I Will Survive' Disco hell

    Mike.

Yeah... was good enough for Nirvana to rip off the main riff for Smells like Teen Spirit :p

Its an awful tune but it instantly makes you strike real Rock 'n Roll postures, complete with air guitar... Its hard not too.

Yeah ... I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing to see your favourites on this list :)

Anybody have the full top 50? I Googled it and I found up to the top 20. Here's 11 - 20 if anybody's interested:

    11 Since You've Been Gone - Rainbow

    12 Centrefold - J Geils Band

    13 Summer of '69 - Bryan Adams

14 Never Ever - All Saints

    15 Mr Boombastic - Shaggy

16 Owner Of A Lonely heart - Yes

    17 Manic Monday - Bangles

18 Don't You (Forget About Me) - Simple Minds

19 Time After Time - Cyndi Lauper

20 Rock On - David Essex

Q Magazine have gotten that list so so wrong :(

I always thought that Don't You (Simple Minds) and Time After Time (Cyndi Lauper) were genuinely good songs, not "so bad it's good stuff." The rest on that list is a load of ****e bollocks :)

    2. Boston - 'More Than A Feeling' Classic
18 Don't You (Forget About Me) - Simple Minds
19 Time After Time - Cyndi Lauper

All 3 are good songs and I wouldn't have any problem saying as much in front of a judge or a naked woman.

I thought Never Ever was a pretty alright tune TBH!
Why is Suspicious Minds not on that list?

I'm sorry but I quite like those songs. We still party to Summer of '69

Actually, to clarify this list, I'm don't think it was intended as "so bad it's good". None of the songs listed here are meant to be bad.

The list is more along the lines of "good, but uncool".
