Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    GTA Multiplayer Modifications
    • Multi Theft Auto
    • San Andreas Multiplayer
    • Vice City Multiplayer
    • GTA Rumble

    Multi Theft Auto
Multi Theft Auto is availiable for GTA3, Vice City, and San Andreas (Race Mode only). GTA3 and Vice City both have Deathmatch, and Vice City has a stunt mode. GTA3 and Vice City run under the same client version (0.5).
You can use an admin tool released by the team to administer your server or you can use MTA:MA which is an MIRC scripting plugin to automate much of the actions needed on the server.

    San Andreas Multiplayer
San Andreas offers full Deathmatch mode and it allows for scripting using the PAWN language so that administrators can create gamemodes for their servers and I have played on a couple of interesting ones so far.
San Andreas Multiplayer offers a couple of good gamemodes on default however with Team Deathmatch in San Fierro, Los Santos, and an RPG like mode in which players gain cash in Las Venturas. (1,000 per kill) you can then buy property in the city using your cash or buy weapons. You can bank money in your account so that you can use it later.

    Vice City Multiplayer
Vice City Multiplayer was a big step forward in terms of Vice City mods. It was created by the SA-MP team and allowed for Game Mode creation as well using INI files, this allowed the gaming experience to differ greatly from server to server. This offered good sync and offered the usage of boats for the first time as MTA had difficulties in bringing that about.

    GTA: Rumble
GTA Rumble was the first multiplayer mod for San Andreas to make the scene, it was very popular and is still availiable for download. The project however is closed and will not be developed further as the sole developer has moved to the MTA team to further develop their mod. He also mentioned that GTA: Rumble was only an educational project.
