Cork was declared a republic for about 2 or 3 days during the Civil War, I thought everyone knew that.

What a time to move to Texas, just when we hit the August heat wave, I think your probably more used to this heat than i am. Austin is certainly a place i will be visiting or maybe not just go to sea world in San Antonio instead. No but i hear Austin is really nice, hill country isn't it?

Believe it or not, it's not as hot in Austin as it was in Philly when we left. It's not as humid here, doesn't bother me at all.

And you can't just skip Austin. There's a ton to see and do here. San Antonio is boring besides The Alamo and the riverwalk. If you come to Austin, hit up Lake Travis for the day. The water is about 85 degrees right now. Or go to Barton Springs if you want to see some beautiful chicks walking around. Downtown is really a good time at night also.

we went to the gay, nude beach by accident (hippie hollow park i think). the park ranger said "you do know this is a NUDE beach (i was with my wife) and there's only men down there right now. We made a u-turn.

PM me your info if you want something to do, we'll grab some pints when you're in town
