Hi, MY 1GB USB key is giving me the "disk in drive F is not formatted". Is there a program at all to try and retrieve the info on it, preferably free? File system "RAW"

    Cheers

Do you have it in your pocket with you mobile phone?
    Thats what probably corrupted it.

You are looking for "data recovery software" that will restore files and clusters. I really cant recommend any single one to you but i will say that some work different/better than others in that, some will retrieve section A,B and D and another will retrieve A, C and E (if you know what i mean) so you might be advised to try two or three to try and get all of it.

As Cork Skate says, you'll probably only be able to get some of the data back - and most likely, in a garbled state. Unless you're trying to retrieve Word data, I'd say you may well be out of luck.

Have you tried the usb key on any other computer, out of interest?
