Why cant I access my Hotmail account on Meteor???

Firstly its been about a year since I used a mobile, so I'm a bit rusty

, but the last time I used the internet on the phone I could easily access my hotmail account and read my mails, so, why cant I do it now? It gives a list of e-mail providers and 'Hotmail' isnt one of them. Any ideas how I can access my hotmail account??

(sorry if this is a dumb question with an easy fix, but like I said....its been a year

)

Not too sure but it might have something to do with Hotmail stopping any kind of mail access (apart from POP mail like from the web browser and nothing else). Instead they, like Yahoo, require you to pay for an upgrade to get this "feature". I'm not 100% sure though.

Right, I set up a mail account with Eircom, I can access that on my mobile......great stuff

.......until I went to send an e-mail to a friend with a Hotmail address, all I keep getting is 'No response, try again!', :mad: :mad:, messages to Eircom will send fine though. Sighhhhh, this is so stupid......*mobile going back into the drawer for another year or two*

thats not right. If you can access eircom mail then you can send to anyone even hotmail. Have you tried sending to this hotmail address using eircom's webmail service?
