Laptop Woes

    Hey,
    I'm just in the market for a laptop as I'm leaving to go to college and I need something small and compact. I've narrowed my decisions down to about 3 systems. The Toshiba Tecra A3x the Asus AMD Athlon Turion64 MT32 and the Sony Vaio BX295VP TBH I'm not looking for much. Something that can play day of defeat handle music and also record dvds. I've got my own windows pro and office so if I could get a system without these installed it would save me some money. thanks a lot, Damien
