    if anyone has experience in using the above package and would be available for a few hours over the next week i'd be willing to pay generously for some assistance in doing princiapl component analysis in spss.

    You can buy an "spss for dummies" book. You would prob find it in waterstones. Speaking from experience if you mess around with spss for an hour or 2 you should get the hang of it
