Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    My phone brand is nokia 3220, and i am with meteor. I would like to use WAP 2.0 (as opposed to the WAP GPRS at 2c per kb - very expensive!) i have noticed the settings on this forum, but after entering them into my phone, and checking to see if i could access the internet, i was told that to ''check homepage adress''. What does this mean? I entered www.mymeteor.ie? Also, is there a dial up number i have to enter into the configuration to access the WAP Dial up, as it's not mentioned in the configuration thread? Thanks :)

    Go to Nokia and at the bottom of the page you will find a link to the support page, that should include settings for your phone which you can send directly. The ones on here may be out of date. Try the nokia website and if the settings don't work from there its best you give Meteor a call.

    Tried nokia.ie, but they too only send you WAP GPRS settings, have also sent 2 emails to meteor, but havn't got a reply....:(

    After looking further at my phone's settings, it appears that the only thing i have left out, which wasn't listed on the forum settings, is the Meteor CSD Dial up number. Does anyone know what it is? :)

    I dont think so. In their price plan it says WAP Dial up CSD is 9c per minute.

    dialup is just a regular call
    gprs is packet switched data - so it charged per byte

    so wap 1.2.1 or wap 2.0 will be charged the same
