Affordable housing

Hi ive just applied for the affordable housing scheme with Fingal co.council.Went to the interview last week.Has anybody recently got a house under this scheme??How long does it take to hear something??and how long does the process take??Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi I have similar questions. I'm in Waterford. I think I should point that out.

I haven't applied yet, I only got the information pack and Application Form yesterday. It explains the process fine. But I was wondering what the interview is like, what kinda questions do they ask. How long does it take in the Waterford City area to get a house. Are you offerend a house or do you get to pick the house in which ever development it going in.

When you get the house do you need to decorate etc. Someone told me that they got all their white goods included in the house.

I'm sure I'll think of more questions tomorrow. But thats about all for now.

Has no one on boards ever bought a house through this scheme. Does no one even know of someone who got a house through this scheme
